Nelson & Colne College lecturer to appear on ‘Come Dine With Me’

AN EPISODE of the hit Channel 4 show Come Dine With Me starring a lecturer from Kelbrook is due to air this weekend.

As well as Sue Hartley, who lives in the village and teaches at Nelson and Colne College, the East Lancashire episode also features contestants from Padiham, Darwen and Oswaldtwistle.

The four were filmed for the programme in September, taking it in turns to host a dinner party and mark each other out of 10. The winner walks away with a cool £1,000.

Sue said she is excited and nervous to see the show on television.

“In the TV guides I’ve been called a spiritualist because I said I used to read tarot cards and my moussaka parcels are named as a highlight, along with lots of belching and kissing.

“I’ve got lots of family and friends coming round to watch so I’m just very nervous because I have no idea which bits they are going to show.”

The episode will air at 8 p.m. on Sunday.
