Nelson Argos store closes
THE Argos store in the Victory Centre, Nelson, closed its doors for the last time today.
The closure follows the opening of an Argos store in Corporation Street, Colne, last year, and there are also two Argos stores in Burnley.
It means there is now only one unit open - William Hill’s bookmakers - in the Victory Centre, which opened in 1993.
In recent times, Shafi’s outfitters has relocated to Scotland Road and a charity shop and hairdressers have both closed.
