Musicians turn out for concert to help fight childhood cancers

A VERY special concert helping fund research into childhood cancers takes place on June 15th.

Grace O’Malley, the sensational 14-year-old singer with the most amazing voice, will be one of the stars performing at Padiham Unitarian Chapel, from 7-30 p.m. The concert has been organised for the Ribble Valley and White Rose Ladies, who have already raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity, focussing particulalry on childhood cancer research.

Also taking part will be a talented young flute player from Chethams School of Music in Manchester, a jazz group and a superb string quartet from Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, the Marmaduke Schnitzel music ensemble and soloist Molly Smith.
