A CHEEKY motorist looks to have cut down the chances of getting caught speeding by lowering a roadside camera.
Eagle-eyed drivers spotted the shortened speed camera on Monday morning while driving along the busy Rossendale Road.
Although no reason has been found as to why or how it came to be lowered Lancashire County Council said it was often the case while maintenance work was carried out on cameras.
It has since been restored to its normal height.
