Manchester expansion for Burnley solicitor

A Burnley-born solicitor has opened a new office in Manchester.

Saghir Munir, of Blackburn law firm Baker and Coleman, has opened a second office in the Spinningfields district, led by senior solicitors from DWF and Walker Preston.

Mr Munir, who still lives in Burnley, founded Baker and Coleman with friend and former law school colleague Kamran Ellahi from Blackburn.

He said: “Our move is in response to client demand and cements our status as a growing firm.”

The firm has chosen Hardman Square in the heart of the city’s legal and financial district as its new home (s).
