Manchester Camerata to return to Colne Muni

Manchester Camerata is set for its Colne Muni return on Sunday, April 29th, with a concert celebrating love, lovers and loving.

Popular mezzo-soprano Anna Stéphany joins Manchester Camerata, conducted by its dynamic Hungarian Music Director Gábor Takács-Nagy, for the programme of music which features Webern’s “Langsamer Satz” (Slow Movement), Brahms’ “Liebeslieder Waltzes”, Dvorák’s “Love Songs” and Tchaikovsky’s “Souvenir de Florence”.

The performance begins at 2-30 p.m., but there is an opportunity for a relaxed discussion with the musicians before the concert at 1-30 p.m.

An option for an afternoon tea of sandwiches, scone and tea before the start is also there for the price of £3.

Tickets are priced at £16 for adults, £13.50 for concessions, £2 for 16 to 18-year-olds while under-16s are free.
