As they were returning to base a man in the Penwortham area shone a green laser at the aircraft.

NPAS Warton later tweeted an image of how a laser can dazzle a pilot.

They added: “We had a man arrested tonight for doing this. Don’t do it, it’s dangerous and stupid and we will arrest.”
