Man (67) remains in hospital with ‘serious injuries’ following Burnley collision

A 67-year-old man is suffering “serious injuries” following a collision in Burnley last month.

The pedestrian was hit when a Vauxhall Zafira turned right off Colne Road on to Bright Street on Tuesday, March 24th, at 12-40pm.

It was initially thought that he had sustained minor injuries, however his injuries are now being treated as serious and he remains in hospital.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to step forward.

PS John Jennings Wharton, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact us with any information.”
