Simmons, of no fixed address, was given a six-month conditional discharge and was told to pay a £15 victim surcharge and a £180 criminal court charge.

The Bench told him:” You caused a nuisance in the street in the afternoon when people expect to be able to wander around without having somebody drunk making a nuisance of themselves.”
