Man (38) denies Burnley canal tow path sex attacks
A BURNLEY man accused of two canal towpath attacks in the town has denied the allegations.
Nizam Ahmed (38) of Arley Gardens, Burnley, denied attempted rape last August and rape last September, when he appeared at Burnley Crown Court.
The defendant is alleged to have committed the offences on the canal bank off Colne Road. He was remanded in custody to face a seven day trial at Preston Crown Court on June 9th.
