M65 sliproads closed for resurfacing work
RESURFACING on the slip roads of the M65 will mean diversions for drivers at weekends over the next few weeks.
The work being carried out by Lancashire County Council between junctions 10 and 14 will take place from 7 p.m. on Saturday nights until 5 a.m. on Monday mornings to keep disruption to a minimum.
The first set of works will be carried out at the Reedyford interchange in Nelson on the eastbound off-slip road beginning tomorrow night.
Work on the eastbound on-slip road will be carried out next weekend, March 5th-7th.
Further works are planned at the Stoneyholme and Gannow interchanges throughout weekends in March and early April.
