M65 at Padiham closed after police called out to deal with 'incident'
Police warned motorists to avoid a section of the M65 which has been closed off this morning while they deal with what they have described as an 'incident.'
The motorway has been closed westbound between junctions eight and nine, the Padiham/Hapton turnoff.
A police spokesman said: "Please avoid the area for the time being and we will update you further when we can."
