Taking place at The Muni on Friday, April 8th, the event is hosted by Pendle’s MP Andrew Stephenson.

More than 1,000 jobseekers have attended previous events and this year is set to be just as popular with numerous employers and training providers booked in to highlight the careers available.

The Jobs’ Fair is aimed at people of all ages looking for employment or a new direction. And you can keep abreast of developments in the lead up to the Fair through the website www.pendlejobsfair.co.uk, Facebook, or Twitter pages.

Employers, service organisations and recruitment agencies already signed up include: Rapid Recruit, Training 2000, G4S, Nelson and Colne College, Boohoo.com, Themis, Pendle Personnel, North Lancs Training Group, Wellocks, Alternative Futures Group, Euravia, Pendle Support and Care Group, New Call Telecom, Mears Group Plc, the British Army, the Royal Navy, Lancashire Constabulary, Sainsbury’s, Woodhead Brothers, Boundary Mill, Daisy Group, Hope Technology and CAP Job Club.

Also taking part is the Stocks Hall Nursing and Care Group whose spokesman said: “It is of great benefit to the community to be able to discuss job opportunities, and also to guide young people starting out on the employment ladder as to what we are looking for in applicants, to give them some insight. In previous years it has been extremely well attended.”
