Police appeal following Bull and Butcher fire

Police are appealing for information following the deliberate fire at the former Bull and Butcher pub.

The fire was reported at around 2am on Monday, April 4th, at the derelict building and the fire service attended immediately.

The blaze caused extensive damage to the building including structural damage and took a number of days to get under control.

Officers from Burnley CID are appealing for any information in relation to the fire and anyone seen acting suspiciously around the site at this time.

They are particularly interested in a report of two youths seen in the area of the Bull and Butcher immediately before the report of the fire described as between 16-20 years old males, one riding or pushing a bike.
