Local school's book burning bright at North West Young Enterprise Finals
Written in poem form, the eight-strong writing team's book, titled ‘Hazardous Harry’, is for children aged three and above and is centred around fire safety, receiving support from the likes of Burnley MP, Julie Cooper; Burnley's Fire Service Delivery Manager, Chris Waring; and Tesco’s Community Champion, Billie Jean Horne.
The team went to the Lancashire finals where they were triple award winners, scooping the titles for Best Trade Stand, Best Presentation, and Best Overall Company, and will now represent Lancashire in the North West Finals.
