Lifesaving training to take place at Padiham Town Hall

People are being offered the opportunity to learn essential training that could help save someone's life.

The free Heart Start training session will be held at Padiham Town Hall on Monday, July 23rd, 6 - 8pm.

The two-hour session will be led by first responders on behalf of North West Ambulance Service and will include learning about:

- Dealing with an unconscious person

- Signs and symptoms of a heart attack

- Recognising a cardiac arrest and performing CPR

- Using a defibrillator

- Dealing with choking

- Dealing with serious bleeding

People must be 16 years old or over to attend and the number of places available is restricted to 20, on a first come, first served basis.
