The illumination for the new Life On Marbs television series has arrived on the Costa del Sol fresh from sunny Burnley.

Paul Howland, the boss of Carbon Footprint Experts, was on holiday in Marbella when he came across filming for the The Only Way Is Essex spin-off. And after talking to the production crew and drawing up designs back at his Liverpool Road headquarters, the lighting at Jessie’s Bar, one of the main backdrops for the programme, was installed.

“The bar didn’t need harsh lighting. It had to be softer, so we recommended LEDs and drew up a whole design for them,” said Paul, a member of Burnley Bondholders.

“Quite of bit of the action for Life On Marbs takes place in Jessie’s Bar so they wanted to get the right setting.

“We’ve been able to come up with just what they were looking for,” added Paul. Earlier this year former Burnley striker Danny Ings officially opened the Burnley firm’s new offices at Empire Way and the company has received nominations in the Red Rose and Burnley Business awards this year.

TV bosses have drawn together a 21-strong cast for Life On Marbs, including millionaire businessmen to top club promoters and former models, the playboys and playgirls of La Cala de Mijas and surrounding areas.

Currently the series is halfway through a 12-episode run on the digital channel ITVBe.
