Time is running out for people to make sure they are eligible to vote in the Parliamentary and local elections on May 7th.
In order to have your say on who runs Westminster, and your local town hall, you must be registered to vote.
The deadline for registration is Monday.
Burnley Council’s elections officer Alison Stirling said: “If you aren’t registered to vote you’ll miss out and won’t have the chance to have a say on who represents you, nationally and locally.”
It is easy to register but you will need your National Insurance number.
You can register online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote, or by contacting the elections office on 01282 477261.
