K08 combines a suspension trainer with resistance bands and caters for all fitness goals and ability levels with the focus on the stability muscles, core strength and plyometrics.

Pendle Leisure Trust’s Health and Fitness Manager Anthony Slater said: “As soon as I saw the K08 bands in action, I could see the amazing benefits it could give our customers.

“Our team of personal trainers and class instructors met with Kieran Owens, the inventor and owner of KO8, and took part in an intense training day.

“No matter what your fitness goal is, the KO8 can play a big part in helping you achieve it as well as giving you that fun and enjoyment aspect to your training.”

KO8 is available at three of Pendle Leisure Trust’s facilities – Pendle Leisure Centre, Colne, West Craven Sports Centre, Barnoldswick and Pendle Wavelengths, once it re-opens. The classes are already proving to be popular.

Meanwhile, Pendle Leisure Trust has taken charge of managing the sports facilities at Colne Primet Academy.

The facilities are open weekday nights until 10pm and weekend bookings are also available.

They can be hired while Pendle Leisure Trust also offers a full programme of activities on Monday and Thursday nights, including football coaching, walking football and a Futsal League.
