Join in Pendleside Hospice’s Midnight Walk for your chance to win a Pandora bracelet

Time is running out for the opportunity to win a Pandora bracelet - courtesy of Pendleside Hospice.

Local jewellers, Humberstones, based at The Fountains, Gisburn Road, Barrowford, have donated a fantastic silver Pandora bracelet valued at £200, which is the prize that will be won by one of the ladies registered to take part in the Pendleside Hospice Midnight Walk.

Every woman registered to take part in the walk by Thursday will go into a draw to win the bracelet, which comes complete with some charms including a pink sparkly heart charm in keeping with the Midnight Walk theme!

The Midnight Walk is an annual event organised by Pendleside Hospice to raise much needed funds. The event is ladies only and involves walking either five or eight starting at midnight from Burnley Football Club on Saturday, July 7th.

Organisers are hoping that as in previous years around 2,000 ladies will turn up to take part in the celebrations – already just over 1,000 have registered so the atmosphere on the night will be fantastic!

The Midnight Walk is the hospice’s biggest annual fund-raising event and in the three previous years has raised over £650,000. The money is needed so that the hospice can care for local people suffering from cancer and other life limiting illnesses and provide support for family and carers.

Entry costs just £10 and includes a Midnight Walk t-shirt, refreshments on the night, and on completion of the walk, a medal, certificate and a well earned bacon butty, vegetarian alternative or fruit salad.
