Investigation launched after fire at garage in Colne

Fire crews tackled a blaze involving a wooden garage in Granville Street yesterday evening (Monday).

Firefighters extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel.

A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: "Firefighters were in attendance approximately one hour and thirty minutes. An investigation into the cause of the fire is now under way."
