AN investigation has been launched after a house was torched in Burnley.
Firefighters were called to Cleaver Street shortly after 7pm on Wednesday. They found fires had been started on the ground floor, on the staircase and in a front bedroom of the unoccupied building.
Crews spent around 40 minutes at the scene and used a hose reel, breathing apparatus and a ventilation unit to tackle the flames.
The incident is being treated as suspicious.
