Inquest of murder victim opened and adjourned
An inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of Burnley murder victim Keith Passmore.
Blackburn Coroner Mr Michael Singleton adjourned the inquest for a further mention on February 24th.
Mr Passmore (60) was found dead at his home in Clifton Road, Burnley, on January 10th. A post-mortem examination found he died from multiple stab wounds.
Paul Howarth (47) of Clifton Road, and Gary Burley (44) of Herbert Street, both Burnley, have been charged with murder.
A trial has been scheduled to take place at Liverpool Crown Court on July 13th.
