Staff members at Burnley Leisure are all smiles as they prepare for their first ever health week, which starts on Monday.
The fitness-packed week celebrates Burnley Leisure’s brand new website and aims to get more people across the town into sport.
The event will offer people the opportunity to get free health MOTs, take part in fitness classes and enjoy free swimming at St Peter’s Leisure Centre.
Members of the Burnley Leisure team will also be in Burnley town centre giving out freebies and running a host of activities and special offers.
Paul Foster, Burnley Leisure’s head of development, said: “The health week is a fantastic opportunity to raise people’s awareness of their own health, encourage them to get active and make fitness enjoyable and fun.
“We’ll be staging many health-related activities in the town centre and taking our classes outdoors for people to enjoy, everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun.”
To celebrate the launch of their new website, Burnley Leisure will also be running a free online competition.
People are invited to visit www.burnleyleisure.co.uk during the health week and enter the competition to win a weekend break.
