A little boy who was found face down in his cot at home, had died from natural causes.
An inquest into the death of 15-month-old Oscar Moore who was discovered by his parents at their home in Beckenham Court, Burnley, on April 24th, was held in Burnley on Tuesday.
East Lancashire Coroner Mr Richard Taylor, speaking at Burnley Coroner’s Court, said the child’s parents recognised something was wrong and called the emergency services
However, Oscar was pronounced dead at the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Pathologist Dr Gauri Batra, who performed the post-mortem examination, gave the cause of death as bronchial pneumonia.
Mr Taylor recorded a conclusion of natural causes.
