Have your say on policing

Lancashire residents are being asked what their priorities are when it comes to policing the county.

Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw has launched an online survey designed to gather resident’s policing priorities to feed into his Police and Crime Plan.

Mr Grunshaw said: “It is my role to be the voice of the public of Lancashire and ensure their needs are reflected in my Police and Crime Plan.

“This plan is important because it sets the direction for policing over the next four years so it is vital we hear from as many people as possible to ensure we get this right.”

The Commissioner, who is touring the country and talking to residents to get their input, thanked dozens of shoppers at the St George’s centre in Preston who stopped to share their views at last week’s Let’s Talk Policing consultation.

He added: “The responses from everyone who takes part will be listened to and help influence the policing priorities for Lancashire.”
