Janette said she was “totally surprised” and “humbled” to win the awards.

She said: “Being a part of families and children’s lives through Hartbeeps is an absolute pleasure and a privilege.

“To be a finalist, there were just 50 out of 5,500 nominations, was utterly amazing and I really didn’t expect to win anything – just being there felt like winning to me.

“The best bit was getting to read some of the comments from parents that reflected that Hartbeeps was so much more than just another group they go to.

“They see it as being integral to their child’s development, a place that has helped them get through some of their hardest times as parents and that has made the precious times with their little ones all the more precious.

“Those words are worth more than any award to me but it was also truly humbling to win. Our Hartbeeps East Lancashire team is growing and we look forward to bringing the magic of Hartbeeps to more families, locations and nurseries in the next year.”
