A young Burnley mum, who only started her new job for a cosmetic company six months ago, has been named as the top sales ambassador for theUK.
Talented Hannah Butterworth beat off competition from 3,700 sales ambassdors to claim the top award which includes a £400 cash prize and afternoon tea at the Ritz Hotel in London.
The delighted mum-of-two was speechless when her name was read out at the glittering ceremony at Birmingham’s Hilton Hotel, hosted by Tropic Skin Care and Make-up.
Hannah (26) said: “I was stunned when they called my name. I honestly could not believe I had done so well. Since then I have been in a dream, it still doesn’t seem real.’’
Hannah clinched the award by selling £15,000 worth of products in her first six months, leaving her rivals trailing behind. Hannah was presented with her award by Lord Alan Sugar, who is a major investor in Tropic. He backed the company, which uses only natural and plant derived ingredients, after being impressed by founder Susan Ma who was runner up on the hit TV show The Apprentice where contestants battle it out for a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar.
Hannah, who lives with her husband Ben in the Manchester Road area, started working for Tropic after taking a career break to look after her two children, Joshua (seven) and two-year-old Polly.
