Hamlet the comedy comes to Pendle!

Colne’s Muni welcomes Hamlet to the stage on Thursday, February 10th in what is a humorous twist on a Shakespeare classic.

Star of the show is well-known magician and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Paul Daniels who will play the part of Hamlet’s father’s ghost via a hologram.

Oddsocks’ riotous, but family-friendly production of “Hamlet - The Comedy,” finds the young student prince returning home for Christmas to discover there’s something rotten in the state of Denmark, and it’s not just his dirty washing!

His mother has married Uncle Claudius and his dead father only puts in a ghostly appearance which is enough to make any teenager go mad.

Things will never be the same again in the Hamlet household. But as this is Oddsocks, it will all be sorted out in raunchy, rebellious and rambunctious fashion.

Be prepared for Shakespeare but with added belly laughs, singing, dancing and some rocking music by Rob Harris, lead guitarist with Jamiroquai.

This promises to be a fantastic production so booking will be essential. Tickets are priced at £12 for adults, £9 for concessions and £32 for a family ticket.

Doors open at 6-45 p.m. for a 7-30 p.m. start. Contact the Muni Box Office on 661234.
