Ghost encountered in attic of Mitton inn

The Aspinall Arms, Mitton, was the setting where 25 guests gatherered on a stormy Saturday night. They began the evening with a delicious Witches Hotpot supper followed by a walk around the buildings and grounds while psychic medium Angela Riding passed on information she received from the spirit world.

The most dramatic tales came in the inn’s attic where the spirit of the lady who had hidden the infamous shoes under the floorboards came through to tell a harrowing tale of how she lost one of her children.

An electro magnatic field reader was very active throughout the night, especially during this episode. The evening ended with a seance where several people experienced physical sensations including oppression, nausea and extreme cold, even though the room was warm. One woman even felt as though someone’s hands were around her throat!
