FIREFIGHTERS in Burnley have issued a warning to teenagers after they were called to put out two deliberate fires last night.

Both incidents happened in the Rosehill area of town where a gang of up to 15 youths had gathered and set rubbish alight. Crews were called at 8-20 p.m. and 9-30 p.m.

Crew manager Shaun Eastham said it was a waste of resources and could take a fire engine away from a real emergency.
