Firefighters used cutting equipment to free a casualty from a car after an accident in Burnley.

The two car collision happened in Queen Victoria Road at 4-10pm on Monday and two fire engines attended.

After the victim was freed he was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Fire crews were at the scene for an hour.
