Firefighters free baby locked in car

FIREFIGHTERS had to free a baby which was accidentally locked in a car.

The frantic mother rang the fire brigade at 11 a.m. on Tuesday when she accidentally locked the keys in her Peugeot parked in Middlesex Avenue.

Crew manager Dave Robinson said: “We used a hole-puncher on the car window so the glass would not shatter over the baby. The mum was a bit worried but the baby was perfectly fine.”
