Fire crews tackle village blaze
Fire crews were called out to a blaze in Worsthorne last night.
Two fire engines from Burnley raced to Wallhurst Close where construction waste and tyres had been set alight at a property.
Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and two jets to extinguish the flames.
No-one was injured in the blaze which happened just after 6-30pm.
