Fire crews tackle moorland blaze

FOUR fire crews are fighting a large moorland blaze above Burnley.

The fire started at around noon today (Monday) at Crown Point Road. More than 25 firefighters from Burnley, Nelson and Rawtenstall are currently attempting to tackle the blaze.

A soft track vehicle is also being utilised to fight the grass fire, the cause of which is unknown at the moment.
