Fire crews tackle early hours of morning wheelie bin blaze in Burnley after it spreads to building

A fire that started in a commercial wheelie bin spread to a nearby building in Burnley in the early hours of this morning.

Fire crews from Burnley, Nelson and Hyndburn were called to the scene in Accrington Road at 3-43am.

Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel, lighting, hooligan tool and holmatro spreaders.

They were at the scene for one hour and thirty minutes.
