Firefighters released a driver from their car after a road accident in Read this morning (Monday)

The accident happened at 8am in Old Coal Staithe.
Two fire engines, from Hyndburn and Great Harwood, were called to the accident, along with paramedics.
Fire crews were in attendance for approximately an hour where they worked to make the scene safe.
