Hazel organised a DVD night when members could watch their recent production of “Aladdin”.

After stepping down after 20 years as chairman, she was appointed honorary president and given a cheque to buy a new sewing machine, as she had worn hers out making hundreds of panto costumes over the years!

Her successor, Neil Tranmer, spoke of “her incredible vision in enabling Burnley to have an amateur panto society which would grow to become one of the most professional in the North-West”.

She thanked everyone for their support.
