Family support event in Brierfield
BRIERFIELD Action in the Community is organising a family support event - Everyone Matters - between 1pm and 4pm on Thursday at Brierfield Library.
The aim of the event is to provide support and advice to people and families who are struggling on a day-to-day basis with their finances, fuel poverty and the impact that is having on their quality of life and families through issues such as substance misuse, domestic violence, family breakdown, debt, changes in benefits, loan sharks and more.
There will be a number of organisations attending including Housing Pendle, Lancashire Trading Standards, Calico and Homestart to support people having difficulties in this current time.
