Money raised from the event is going to Burnley FC in the Community’s new community kitchen project.

The kitchen will incorporate a foodbank, café and teaching kitchen, will open on Monday, August 6th, in the heart of the Charter Walk Shopping Centre.

Anita Orchard, community kitchen manager, said: “We’re delighted local businesses are helping us in this way. By raising funds it means that we are able to keep the cost down for the end user. It also means we are able to provide more facilities.

“The donations we have received so far have been amazing.”
