Ex-Belvedere and Calder Vale Sports and Social Club ladies donate to Pendleside

Former Ladies Committee members of Belvedere and Calder Vale Sports and Social Club in Burnley have donated Â£150 to Pendleside Hospice.

The money was from donations made at their 2nd Reunion Dinner which took place on 25th November 2016 at the club.

Joan Lee, a former member and Reunion organiser, said: “It it was such a great evening! It was the second reunion we have arranged after the success of last year’s which raised £135 for Pendleside. I think it will become an annual event due to its popularity”.

Sammi Graham, Fundraiser at Pendleside Hospice, said: “Thanks to all the ladies who contributed towards the total raised in aid of Pendleside, we are truly grateful for all of your continued support.

"The money will support the vital work we do to promote and enhance quality of life for people with a life-limiting illness, and their families in the Burnley and Pendle area.”
