POSH frocks and smart suits were the order of the day at Blessed Trinity RC College’s Year 11 leavers’ prom.
Scores of students were taken by coach to the ball at The Pines in Chorley.
The event started with a prayer before the three-course formal dinner.
After the desserts were served, head of year Mrs Claire Juriansz gave a speech about the highlights of the year and gave special thanks to assistant head of year Miss Janet Horne. She rounded off by wishing the students good luck for the next chapter of their lives.
Students and staff then hit the dancefloor and took part in a dance-off.
Assistant headteacher Andy Montrose said: “We are very proud of our students and hope the exam results reflect the hard work of staff and students.”
