Dog with tumour now safely back home
A dog with a large inoperable tumour which was found wandering the streets alone is now back home safe and sound with her owners.
Misty was discovered on Lowerhouse Lane, Burnley, at around 1pm yesterday, and collected by the dog warden.
Members of the public grew concerned because of a tumour to her left side and blindness in one eye.
But Facebook users have helped to trace her owners and return her home by 3pm yesterday.
Vets have said Misty is not in any pain despite her condition, according to her owners.
