Discovery of woman's body in Padiham being treated as unexplained
The body of a woman was found in a Padiham flat yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to the property in Burnley Road at 3-40pm after reports a woman, in her 50s, had died.
A police spokesman said: "Her death is being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem examination to establish the cause of her death will take place in due course."
