Don’t be fooled by his wickedness on stage, for this Burnley actor is championing a cancer charity.

When Burnley Light Opera Society asked Danny Morville to shave his head for a villainous role in Jekyll & Hyde, the 30 year-old decided to turn it into a charitable act by asking people to sponsor him in aid of Cancer Research UK.

“It’s a charity that’s close to my heart as my grandfather died of cancer,” he said.

“The support has been fantastic and donations are still coming in.”
