Dad accused of urging Burnley riot on Facebook appears in court
A DAD-OF-TWO has appeared in court charged with posting a Facebook message urging people to take part in a riot in Burnley.

Christopher James Schofield (25) is alleged to have posted the message: “Riot alert, meet at Duke Bar, Burnley, at 8 p.m. – faces must be covered and weapons advised.”
The message was allegedly posted on August 9th. Schofield, of Eckroyd Close, Nelson, was sent on bail to Preston Crown Court.
