Youths flee from police after deliberately starting fire on Burnley field

A group of youths who deliberately started a fire on a field in Burnley are being sought by police.

The incident occurred on a field behind at the end of Queen Street on Sunday evening (April 4).

Police said the group fled scene the after being spotted by officers who were patrolling the area, but some of them were captured on bodycam.

Officers believe this may be the same youths that have been responsible for the recent anti-social behaviour in the area.
