Woman assaulted outside Burnley takeaway

Police want to speak to these two men in connection with an assault outside a Burnley takeaway.

The incident happened at around 4am on Monday, May 4th, outside Flames in Hammerton Street when the victim, a 19-year-old woman, was trying to break up an argument between her friends and two men.

One of the men then punched her to the face before the pair ran away. The victim sustained a broken nose as a result of the attack.

PC Jo McCoy, of Burnley Police, said: “We are trying to trace the two men pictured in connection with our investigation and I would urge anyone with any information about them to contact us.”
