A "violent" man who was jailed following an assault is wanted on recall to prison after failing to stick to his curfew.

Macauley Worth, 24, is wanted by police on recall to prison after breaching a Home Detention Curfew (HDC) order in April.

Worth had been sentenced to 19 months in prison for an offence of assault at Preston Crown Court in March 2018.

The curfew required Worth to be at home for between nine and 12 hours a day, but police believe he has breached these terms.

PC Elliot Jones, of Fleetwood Police, said: "Worth has been wanted by police for some time and we want to find him as soon as possible.

"He can be violent if approached and we would ask people to call police if they know his location.

"If you can help with our enquiries please come forward and speak to us."

He has links to Fleetwood and Burnley, according to police.

Anyone with information has been urged not to approach Worth, but to contact police on 101 or by emailing [email protected].
