Thieves strike twice in quad bike thefts in Ribble Valley

Quad bike thieves have struck for the second time in five days in the Ribble Valley.

A quad was stolen from Grindleton at around 1-45am this morning but, as the owner had a tracker fitted to the vehicle, the company was able to alert them that the bike was moving.

Police were contacted and located the bike in Downham within 45 minutes. But officers are keen to contact any residents who have any CCTV covering the road from Grindleton to Chatburn and Downham to check their cameras between 1-45am and 2-20am.

The first quad bike theft took place between 10pm last Thursday and 5am the folllowing day in Bashall Eaves.

The red Yamaha bike has the model number is YFM350FWAN and chassis number is 5Y4AH13WOC0515685.
